Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine postgraduate theses written in the field of Storyline approach in terms of different variables and to synthesize the findings. In the study conducted using qualitative research method, 25 postgraduate theses were examined. The data of the research were collected by document review technique, and the theses were examined in YÖKTEZ environment according to their general characteristics, methods, subjects and subject areas, sample group, sampling method, data collection tools and data analysis methods. Content analysis was used in the research. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the most theses were produced in the department of classroom teaching, the most master's theses were prepared, the quantitative research method was generally used, the most studies were conducted in the field of Social Studies as a subject area, the most studies were conducted with 6-year-old children as a sample group, a scale was used as a data collection technique and t-test was used in data analysis. It is recommended that new research on the storyline approach be conducted at higher and secondary education levels.
